How do I subscribe to a group?
You can subscribe to a group through our web interface or via email. To subscribe to a group through our web interface, simply log in to your Google Account and visit the group of your choice. Then click the "Join this group" link on the right-hand side of the page under "About this group". To subscribe to a group via email, send an email to [Groupname]-subscribe@googlegroups.com. For example, if you wanted to join a group called google-friends, you would send an email to google-friends-subscribe@googlegroups.com
Note: For restricted membership groups, the group owner will need to approve your subscription request before you can join. And all these groups are restricted membership groups only.
How each of the Fellow Thaparian can help?
Also, if anybody wants to help making these groups flourish, can send in request co-owners/managers of the groups. This is possible, by either taking Manager Rights to the Groups or Owner Rights to the Groups. Kindly give us your info, while making such a request like : full name, roll no., passing out year, branch, course, geography, contact no's and address. Secondly, if you want to create any New Thaparian Group and want it be listed and co-owned or co-managed by Fellow Thaparians, do let us know. Alternatively, if you know of Any Existing Thaparian Groups, which are active, but not listed on the website, do let us know. We will do the needful.
How do I contact the owner of a group?
You can reach a group owner by clicking the "About this group" link on the right side of any of the group's pages. (Alternatively, you can click on the "More group info" link on the right side of the page in the "Group info" box). On this About page, click the "Send email to the owner" link. You'll see a web form to submit your message. We'll then forward any message sent through this form to the group's owner.
All these activities, are being done to bring more solidarity among Thaparians and to make Mega Meet Dec 2010, a great success.
